This group of individuals represents the largest tax entity in the subdivision.   They are all residents and see to the distribution of funds that provide water and sewage services in our district.  These include lawyer fees for basic administration and consulting, operator fees for maintenance of the physical plants, water storage facilities, distribution and collection systems, fire hydrants, etc., engineering consulting fees that deal with new plant construction, other utility or agency construction that impacts our district and general questions the board may have.

At the Board's January meeting, a question was asked about the construction work that had commenced along Barker Cypress Road within Addicks Utility District. The Addicks MUD attorney has advised that Addicks is installing a large (30") sanitary sewer trunkline to serve development in the northern part of Addicks (somewhere near Barker Cypress and Clay Road). He also advised that you might notice mounds of dirt on the side of Barker Cypress and he warned that additional work would be required over the next several weeks (so you may want to pay attention to traffic/construction signs if you drive that area frequently).
